The difference from the injection method of treatment is that Dermapen microneedling is a completely natural process, stimulating the body's own repair and renewal process to create collagen and elastin. The microneedles are set at different depths and speeds depending on the problem to be addressed, so they create fractional channels in the surface of the skin. Meso-Glide™ concentrate (a skin serum, chosen to help correct a specific skin problem) passes through these microchannels, which we work deep into the skin during the treatment process, increasing its effectiveness and the transport of healing nutrients.
